Dan and Christi

Based in London, Dan & Christi specialise in Afro American partner dances and vernacular Jazz from the 1920 to 1940s. They are respected dance historians as well as being teachers and performers of the dances. Their particular specialities are Lindy Hop, Balboa and Charleston.

In Lindy Hop they are widely considered as one of the best couples in Britain. They are former UK Lindy Hop Champions with an excellent track record in all competitions entered.

Balboa is a less well known dance form which Dan & Christi have made a significant contribution towards popularising in the UK. They are Britian's busiest teachers of Balboa and teach the dance regularly in their own classes and other events.

Dan & Christi also have an in-depth knowledge of partenered Charleston appearing on primetime TV as part of the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever series. They acted as the program's consultants and dance coaches teaching Charleston to the contestants on the program.

Over the years they have become popular guest teachers at many dance events both across the UK and Internationally. They have taught or performed in France, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Repuplic, Ireland, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.
