Betty Blue & the Boat Gig Crew (DK)

Betty Blue & the Boat Gig Crew (DK) is a new Danish band playing music which has is roots in the swing jazz as it sounded at the Savoy Ballroom and the Cotton Club in the 30's in Harlem. Their music is though not limited to this special style but also uses influences from blues, soul & rock'n'roll. Thus the band's music is full of energy and the joy of life as the traditional swing jazz was back in the day.

The band is based in Copenhagen and has played several concerts in the swing scene where it's a well known and respected band. With a tough attitude the sensual miss Betty and her crew makes sure that the audience gets something out of the ordinary to take home. It's good-time music with a solid beat.

Öresound Big Band (SWE)

A 20 piece big band from Malmö. They play classic big band swing with a large influence in style by the Count Basie Orchestra. A collection of great soloists and an excellent vocalist makes a superb band for a great night of swingin' big band jazz.
